USPS Fined for Safety Violations at Processing Center

Dayton, OH - The Department of Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited the U.S. Postal Service with three willful violations and six serious violations at the Dayton, Ohio processing center. The USPS has been charged with $225,000 in fines for electrical and equipment hazards. This marks the first time OSHA has pursued company-wide compensation in response to violations.
